Processing one thing into another, ‘Performance as Text’ is, as its title suggests, an autonomous fictional translation of a performance initially planned to take place in the opening event of the festival ‘A Matter of (In)digestions’. Writer, performer and visual artist Céline Mathieu thinks about the malleable brain, the performer in space and ‘neuroplasticity’ in terms of moving one thing, into another.
